  • In some sources her given name is "Louesa," but her gravestone shows it as "Louisa."

    Her obituary states that she came to Utah in 1847 with the John Taylor company.  However, John Taylor traveled to Utah in the 1847 Hunter/Horne company, but he was not the company Captain.
