  • She and her husband, Thomas, arrived in New Orleans on 22 October 1849 via the ship The James Pennell. Her baby, Catherine, died on the ship.

    Her birth date is confirmed by West Jordan Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 20 November 1853. She is listed under her maiden name at the time of that ordinance.
