  • Sarah Ann was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 5 August 1853 with the name "Sarah Ann Hollister." Her name does not appear on the 1850 Utah census, so it is likely that she arrived between 1851 and 1853.  Further research is needed to determine the year she arrived in Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.

She came to Utah with the surname of her husband, Phineas Howe Young, but they were divorced shortly after her rebaptism.

Sarah appears in the 1860 Utah census with the surname of "Richey."
