  • Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gammon. They emigrated from England by way of the ship Joseph Bradlee in 1850. Their westward journey then continued in 1853 as part of the Ettleman company. His birth date is confirmed by Provo 2nd Ward records at the time of a baptism on 23 October 1853.
