  • She was the orphan daughter of John and Elizabeth Quamby who was adopted by Joseph Bates Noble.

    The 1900 Wyoming census gives her birth as May 1840, and her obituary states that she was 64 years old at the time of her death, which would also make her birth taking place in 1840.  Her death certificate gives her birth date as 22 June 1840.

    Her death certificate and the inscription on her gravestone shows her name as "Annie Noble Luce."
