  • Moses and his wife Almira initially traveled to the Valley with their daughter, Samantha, and two other young girls named Ann Eliza Vickers and Eliza Kent. It is uncertain what the family's relationship was with the Ann Vickers and Eliza Kent.

    Four years later, Moses captained his own freight train company.
