  • The Haddon family sailed to America in 1852 on the ship Ellen Maria

    The Deseret News article, dated 21 August 1852 incorrectly listed his name as "Christmas Adam," instead of "Thomas Christmas Haddon."

    His surname on PEF records is spelled "Hadden".
