  • Jabez initially traveled to the Salt Lake Valley from England with the Robert L. Campbell Company in 1854.  He traveled from England with his parents, Jabez and Ann Granger, and sisters Eleanor and Harriet.  While in Kansas, his sister, Harriet, died of Cholera.

    On the company roster, he is listed under his middle name of John.
