  • Sarah Jane is the wife of Washington Bolivar Rogers, and they were married in Ohio in 1851.   We know that he came to Utah in 1848, and made a second trip back to Utah in 1857 with the Hezekiah Thatcher pioneer company.  However, we do not have a roster which would show that names of all who traveled  in that company.  Sarah Jane's name appears with him in the 1860 Utah census, so it is likely that she came with him in 1857, but a primary source is needed to confirm her year of arrival and the name of the pioneer company she traveled to Utah with.

Her name does not appear on the 1870 Utah census with her husband, so it is likely that she died before the census was taken.
