  • Elizabeth, her husband Henry and two daughters Margaret and Martha traveled to America on the ship Hartley arriving in New Orleans on 28 April 1849.  Henry died in 1849 on the Mississippi River.

    A widow with two daughters. Her daughter's obituary and William Knox's journal confirm that the Joiners were present in the Hindley company.
