Seth Millington Blair Sr.
In 1850, Seth partnered with Thomas S. Williams to freight merchandise and transport his family from Council Bluffs to Salt Lake.
Seth served as captain of the Seth M. Blair/Edward Stevenson Company in 1855. Along the journey, Seth became ill and was succeeded by Edward Stevenson.
He later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.
