  • Peter and his wife Cecelia crossed the Atlantic from Liverpool to New York on the ship John J. Boyd in 1856; their son Niels Carl Jensen died at sea.  Cecelia's given name is "Sisse" on Mormon Immigration Index.  That they crossed the plains in 1856 is confirmed by information found in Church financial records.
