  • She is the daughter of John and Fanny Powell. Her birth date is confirmed by Oak City Ward records.  The 1870 Utah Census shows her name as "Jessy Huntsman," and the 1880 Utah census lists her as "Jessie Huntsman."  Her name is listed as "Jessie Powell Gasquine" on her death certificate.
