Henry Green Boyle
Henry Boyle Miller
As a discharged member of the Mormon Battalion, Boyle captained his own company to the Valley in 1848. At some point he returned to settle in California, but again immigrated back to the Salt Lake Valley in 1857, traveling with his father-in-law, John Holladay, and his two children. Further research is needed to determine which company they made that trip with. It should not be confused with the company that he captained that same year that traveled south down the California coast from San Juan to San Bernardino, where it was disbanded.
In some military records, he uses the name Henry Boyle Miller.
