  • Soren came with his grandfather, Soren Christensen Spange.

    The History of Sanpete and Emery County it says that Soren came in 1862 with Captain Soren Christoffersen's Freight Train.  However, Soren returned from a Scandinavian mission in 1862 and served as an interpreter for the Scandinavians who were in the 1862 John R. Murdock pioneer Company.  He was not the company captain.
