  • The Evans family sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Horizon. The obituary of  Evan and the reminiscence of Jennette both confirm that the family came on to Utah in 1859.  Jennette specifically mentions coming with the Philip H. Buzzard Company.

Her birth date confirmed by Thomas Evans notebooks.
