  • Charles and Lovinia were married on the ship William Tapscott in 1859, as they traveled to America from England.

    He served in the company as Captain of the Guard. His obituary states that he and his wife came to Utah in the 1859 Robert Nestlings [Neslen]Company, but the newspaper roster and two journals listed below state that they traveled with the 1859 George Rowley Company
