  • Anne arrived in New York on 18 July 1866 via the ship Humboldt. Traveling with her on that ship was her niece, Kari Larsen, daughter of Anne's oldest sister. Only her name is on the overland company records, as head of household, but it shows that she purchased two adult food rations for that portion of the journey, indicating that Kari continued on with her across the plains.
