  • At this time, Betsy's relationship to Henry Tempest is unclear. Betsy is listed on the company roster in between Henry and his two boys, James and John. However, she is not connected to Henry on Family Tree and was not mentioned in a biographical sketch concerning Henry's trail experience (on Family Tree). However, her obituary does state that she traveled to Utah by handcart in 1860 with her husband (husband's name not given in obituary).
