  • Isaak, his wife Verena, niece Elizabeth, children Jacob and Arnold came from Switzerland in 1861 on the ship Monarch of the Sea.

Another child, Hannah Looser, born about 1851, also appears on the 1861 Monarch of the Sea ship manifest, but we have not been able to confirm her arrival in Utah with her family.

The 1870 Utah census shows the family's surname as "Lowser" and his burial  record spelled his name as "Isaac Losser."
