Mary Mole Deakin
Mary Mole Jones
Mary and her husband, William, arrived in New York on 1 May 1860 via the ship Underwriter. The 1860 New York census shows them in the same household as two sons, one of which did not travel to Utah. Her husband, William; son, Robert; and new daughter-in-law, Mary Selman Deakin, seem to have traveled to Utah in 1862 with the Harmon Company. It appears that Mary stayed behind in New York and her husband returned for her a couple years later because they are seen together on the Warren Company of 1864.
