  • Birth year confirmed by Sugarhouse Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 22 April 1866. This record also indicates that he was born in England to James Surridge and Ann Bailaf.

    His obituary indicates that he came to Utah as early as 1855, but the earliest we have record of him is in 1862. His death date is confirmed by obituary.
