  • Although Louisa married Ferdinand Johann Zollinger before embarking for America, she appears under her maiden name on the ship manifest (spelled "Meier" in Mormon Migration and "Meyer" in the New York Passenger List).  She crossed the Atlantic on the ship Windermere in 1862.
