  • Robert, his wife Mary and children James, Catherine, William, Christina, Mary, Janet and Thomas sailed in 1863 on the ship Cynosure.  A son Robert died at sea.

    The company he traveled with was noted in local church financial records.         Their surname was spelled "Hendersen" on the 1870 Utah census.
