  • Wife of James Wiley Norton.  She was re-baptized on 26 April 1851 at Salt Lake City by N. V. Jones and confirmed by Jones and J. Norton.   Her sister Rebecca was re-baptized on the same day and confirmed by the same two men.  (In the re-baptism record their surname is spelled "Morton.")  At the time of the 1856 Territorial census of Utah Nancy was living in the Salt Lake 15th ward with her husband and two of her children (Amanda M. and Rufus W.)  They were all living in Lehi, Utah County at the time of the 1860 federal census. (In this census Nancy's given name is abbreviated Ncy.)  Her death date is confirmed by the Utah State History Cemeteries and Burials Database. FamilySearch lists her date of death as 12 July 1893.
