        • James Peter Clawson traveled with his family. The Clawson family crossed the ocean together by way pf the ship Monarch of the Sea. In some sources, such as the Mormon Immigration Index, his surname is spelled "Classon." According to Early Members of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, James Peter was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1874 in Utah and then relocated to Nebraska.
