  • Jorgen Rasmussen's name was included on this list of immigrants published in the Deseret News article and was listed as traveling with his family. This included his wife and two children. They came from Omaha where William Edward was born. The Rasmussen family was located together on the 1860 Nebraska census and recorded as living in Omaha City. Their surname was written "Rismossen" on the census. In 1880, Jorgen, Hansena, and William lived together in Utah.
