  • Martha traveled with her husband James (22) and daughter Eliza Ellen (infant). They crossed the ocean via the ship General McClellan. Their westward journey continued as part of the 1864 Rawlins Company. Her sisters, Catherine, Hannah, and Mary Jane, also traveled in the Rawlins Company.
