  • Mary was traveling with Howell Davis and another child, David Williams. They arrived in New York on 23 June 1864 via the ship The General McClellan. It is uncertain what her relationship was with them. She is listed with them on the ship passenger list and is also noted on Howell's PEF record. Further research is needed to identify exactly who Mary was.
