  • Samuel, his wife Eleanor, son Henry and his wife Rebecca and other children Eleanor, Elijah, and Rachel sailed to America 1865 on the ship Belle Wood.

    Although the Deseret News states that he came with his wife and sister, we have him on the ship with wife and children and no record of a sister.

    Surname is spelled "Cocks" on the 1870 Utah census.
