  • Elizabeth and her family arrived in New York on 6 July 1866 via the ship Arkwright. The records for the overland company only list her father, John, as head of household, but the notation that he purchased 5 adult food rations confirms that entire family made the overland trip .The Deseret News article announcing the company's arrival confirms her death date and origin.
