  • The Brown family arrived in New York on 23 June 1864 via the ship General McClellan. 

    Birth date confirmed by Sugarhouse Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 1 October 1865. The record also states that she was the daughter of Thomas Perkinson and Sarah Southworth.
