  • Jane was a single woman, traveling with her daughter, Annie Hodson. Apparently her husband did not emigrate with her. They arrived in New York on 6 June 1866 via the ship John Bright.

Jane's birth date is confirmed by the Logan Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 3 November 1866. However, it is likely that the date is slightly off as England Births and Christenings indicate that Jane was christened on 25 November 1819.

Their surname is spelled "Hodgson" on the roster.

Thomas E. Ricks Company (1866)
