  • Frances Brown emigrated from England in 1868, on the ship Colorado. She traveled with her mother Frances, and her son William. The memorandum book has her (or her mother) listed as the head of the family traveling with two others.

    Her death certificate shows her name as "Fanny Brown Carter."
