  • Henry George was born in England. He emigrated from England with his father, mother, and siblings. The Hayball family crossed the plains as part of the Mumford company. Henry was found on the 1870 Utah census in the household of his father, George. His death certificate confirms his date of birth and death date.

    The Sampson family sailed to America in 1868 on the ship Emerald Isle.
