  • He was baptized in 1858, and probably emigrated to Utah in 1864 with a large group of Scandinavian saints. A Frederick Anderson appears on the ship manifest of the Monarch of the Sea, which sailed April 28-June 3 1864. Further research is needed to determine which company he traveled with to Utah.

In 1865 he was called to serve a mission in Scandinavia. In 1868, while returning from his mission, he led a group of Scandinavian saints to Utah.
