  • Anna, her husband, Charles, and children, Ezra, Catherine and Thomas arrived in New Orleans on 13 June 1854 via the ship Germanicus. They did not continue on to Utah with other family members who traveled with the Charles Harper company in 1855. However, the 1870 Iowa census indicates that they did eventually make it to the valley because it shows that a child was  born in Utah in 1866. A child was born in Fort Bridger in 1861.  The 1870 and 1880 census show the family back in Iowa. Two children were born in Missouri, Mariah and Elizabeth. Ezra and Thomas died in Missouri

1860 census spells the family name as "Fawn."
