  • Death date is confirmed by his burial record and Find a Grave web site.

    He was among five men who returned east at Green River to help guide oncoming companies. He joined with his wife to travel to Salt Lake Valley in the Spencer-Eldredge company.

    The family's travel to Utah in 1847 is confirmed by the obituary of Lettie.

    A few years later, he traveled with the Thomas S. Williams Freight Train when returning from a mission. He arrived in the valley on 14 October, in advance of the company.

    Aaron was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 3 June 1849
