  • She was born in South Africa. Daughter of James and Elizabeth Parker. She traveled with her family from England to New York via the ship Caravan. They arrived to New York 17 March 1856. The Parker family continued their westward journey as part of the Hunt company. In 1860, they lived together in Salt Lake City, Utah.
