  • Son of Thomas and Eliza Wilkerson. In 1850, the Wilkerson family lived together in Illinois, according to census records. Both of his parents were included in the 1852 Wimmer company report. The Salt Lake Herald newspaper article states that he received capital punishment for murder and was shot on May 16, 1879. The article also confirms that he traveled with his parents in 1852.
