Thomas Corless
Thomas appears in the Utah Territorial Militia records in 1850 at Salt Lake City and he was re-baptized here on 12 May 1850. At the time of the 1856 Utah census he was living in the Salt Lake City 4th Ward; this same year he received a mission call "to the North." In 1862 he received a call to the Utah Cotton Mission. He died at his home in Kaysville; his obituary says that he arrived in Utah in 1848. The middle name "Henry" may be found in the Utah Death Registers. In some sources his surname is spelled "Carloss."
