  • Her birth on the plains is evidence for Abel Lamb's family traveling overland to Utah in 1850. Abel's obituary states he reached Salt Lake City on September 10. Several companies came into Salt Lake City near that date including the Aaron Johnson company, Benjamin Hawkins company, and Williams-Blair freight train. A secondary source notes he was in the Johnson company, but that can't be confirmed.
