  • An entry for John King in the book, Pioneers and Prominent Men of Utah, references Lydia's parents (Henry and Maria) and her sister Elizabeth, and states that they came with the 1868 Simon Molen Company. Although the book did not directly list Lydia, she was located in the passenger list records with her mother and three of her sisters. Family tradition states her father Henry did not come with the family.
