  • He came with his wife, Martha, and his step-daughter, Sarah Ellen Sharp. Martha was the widow of Norman Sharp. Martha was pregnant with Sarah Ellen at the time of Norman's death. Harley and Martha married on July 4, 1847. 

    Harley often spelled and singed his last name "Mowrey."
