  • Abraham was born in Poland.  He was first baptized at Salt Lake City on 26 June 1853 by Orson Hyde and confirmed by P. P. Pratt.  He received a Patriarchal Blessing from Isaac Morley at Willow Creek (Tooele, Utah) on 23 November 1854.

    He was commonly referred to as "Abraham the Jew."
