  • The inscription on her gravestone in Minnesota shows her birth year as 1828, and her death year as 1903.

    She was probably a laundress with the Mormon Battalion.

    Hulda was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 8 August 1847 with the name "Hulda S. Grible", was divorced from William Gribble on 9 August 1847, and married William Rockwell Tubbs on 17 August 1847.

    The 1860 Minnesota census shows her name as "Sophia Tubs."
