  • Circumstantial evidence from emigration, census, and genealogical records proves the Thomas Taylor family traveled to Utah in 1863. His obituary says that he "was born in a covered wagon coming down Weber Canyon en route to Salt Lake City. . ." Also, the 1870 Census lists his birthplace as "Weber Co. Utah."
