John Marshall Miller
He first came to the Valley in 1852 with family. His obituary confirms three additional trips across the plains as a teamster for out-and-back companies and once again with a freight train. Further research is needed to identify the 1862 out-and-back company and the 1867 freight train he traveled with. John came from the American Fork Ward when he served as a teamster for the William Chipman Company.
Birth date confirmed by Fifteenth Ward records.
