  • Wife of William Price Jones. They crossed the Atlantic on the ship Jersey in 1853. The death of an infant daughter on 9 October 1853 in Salt Lake City confirms that William and Emma reached Utah in 1853. The death record also notes that the baby was born "on the plains" on 31 August 1853. This indicates that William and Emma reached Utah sometime between September and October of that year. Emma's obituary also indicates that they reached Utah in the autumn of 1853.

Emma received a Patriarchal Blessing on 18 March 1854.

Her death date is confirmed by her obituary. Additional research is needed to identify the pioneer company with which she and William crossed the plains.
