Robert Hughes
Evidence from church records indicate that Robert Hughes, Elizabeth Denman, and Susannah Hughes arrived in Utah in 1851 or 1852. They do not appear on the 1850 Utah census. The first evidence to place them in Utah a church ordinance performed 25 September 1852 for Robert and Elizabeth in the Salt Lake City 17th Ward. Further research is needed to determine the year they came to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.
